Notes: Kogorou Mouri is a Private Detective. He lives above his office with his daughter Ran, and Conan Edogawa. Conan stays with them though a combination insistence of his daughter, and though the superstition that Conan brings him luck, as his success rate in solving crimes has skyrocketed since Conan started Staying with him. But unrealized by Kogorou this is because Conan is rendering him unconscience, and mimicking his voice to solve the crimes. Being prone to black-outs due to his alcoholism anyway, he blithely takes credit deductions he can't remember. This has earn't him name recognition nation wide as the Sleeping Kogorou. Kogorou is a Former Police Inspector who had to take early retirement for Endangering a Hostage. The Hostage was his Wife Eri. he had shot her in the leg to prevent her from being useful to a trapped Criminal. That night His wife Cooked him dinner to say thank you for saving her, but due the fact he had the "odacity" to complain about the food (in his defence it was terrible). Sense then they have been Separated (Ran was 6 at the Time). Kogorou cares deeply about his daughter but any other kid he would rather not be around; so Conan is always treading a fine line with Kogorou's Tolerance.
