Chapter 5 of Penitatas Diana
Mommy Ruth awakened little Di at seven o'clock, the morning of her first day back to school since she'd finished her MD's degree.
This was her first day of first grade since becoming a child again after her sentence as a Penitatas, and she was both a little frightened and a little curious.
Mommy helped Diana get dressed for school, slipping on her white cotton panties, then the matching slip. She turned down the short sleeved white blouse all the girl's would wear, then slid the knee-length jumper in the school's red tartan over her head, then zipped up the back for her. Red socks and black saddle shoes completed the outfit. Di's mommy combed her hair in a single ponytail, and then she went downstairs for her breakfast. Then, carrying her book bags, her Mommy took her out to wait for the school bus.
Today Ruth would ride in with Di to get her all registered at the school for Penitatas. Once at school, Diana was introduced to Mrs. Janet Kapsis, her homeroom teacher, she looked young, she was most likely in her 30s.
Then she walked into her classroom and to her desk, then started to arrange her things, and get read for her first school day as a Penitatas, while Ruth went to the school office and finished Diana's registration.
As Diana got ready, she looked around the classroom and looked at the other kids there, and their hands.
Diana noticed that while there weren't that many kids in her class, there was a lot of diversity. Classrooms were determined by the government so that kids were matched in a way that will 'help out' in their reeducation of their sentences.
Di guessed that since one of her crimes was cultural intolerance, that she may be one of the reasons that her classroom had such diversity of people. They were all in the same class, so they were the same "age" but how many cycles were they in already? Di wondered.
There were five girls, without counting Diana, and two boys. Some hard timers and few soft timers.
The first was a girl with blonde hair tied in twin ponytails, a hard timer. The little bands holding the ponytails were adorned with the image of a cute little pink kitty. In fact, Di noticed that all her school supplies, and her schoolbag, were adorned with animal themes. She had pencils painted like a cow with a cow shaped eraser, a ruler with pictures of puppies, a pencil case with little pastel colored birds. And her backpack looked like a big furry bunny with little carrot shaped zippers.
Then another girl, her hair tied in a long pigtail that reached the small of her back, also a hard timer. The big ribbon that tied her hair seemed overly feminine, it was a bright pink, and was all shiny. Also, all her school supplies, pencils, rulers, etc. were in a variety of pastel colors, and even the eraser was shaped like a little heart. He backpack was pink with little rainbows and hearts and teddy bears sewed all over it.
Next was an African American boy, soft timer. He looked busy preparing his little desk for class.
Another boy, also a soft timer. He looked Latin.
Then another girl, also latin, and also a soft timer. Diana felt a little envious of the three soft timers, the only ones in the class.
Then came another hard timer. An asian girl. She looked a little bored as she placed all her school supplies on the desk.
Finally, another hard timer girl. She had black hair and green eyes. She looked very careful that everything on her desk was set just right and in perfect order.
Diana couldn't help but wonder why they were all here for, but she knew that pretty soon class would start, and she will be able to find out then.
All the penny kids were just finishing setting up their desks and turning on their little personal computer terminals where Mrs Kapsis entered the room. Then she called the roll.
"Christina Smith?" "Here." the blonde girl with the animal themed supplies answered.
"Samantha Jones?" "Here." the girl with the big pink ribbon bow answered.
"Luis Gonzalez?" "Here." the latin boy.
"Joseph Durward?" "Here." the African american boy.
"Diana Kavensky?" "Here!" Diana replied, a little nervous.
"Maria Lopez?" "Here." The latin girl.
"Kim Jung Mi." "Here" The asian girl replied.
"Mary O'Hara?" "Here!" The green eyed girl. She Lockheed to be giving her undisputed attention to the front of the class.
"Okay everyone," said Mrs Kapsis, "I want everyone to stand up, and then in turns will tell the rest of the class why you are all here. To those who are on their first cycle, let me explain that you should give your name, cycle, sentence, and your offense, or offenses. After that, I shall know enough about you all to choose the class representative. Now, let's start in order, Christina?"
"Christina Smith, I used to be Christopher Smith. Sentenced to 9 times 5 to 10, with Y-repression. This is my fourth cycle." Replied the blonde girl, "My offense was cruelty to animals. The Y-repression was considered since my offense included violent actions, and it will be no longer a part of my sentence as soon as I start my soft time period."
"Cruelty to animals... that explains all your school supplies and schoolbag." Commented Mrs Kapsis.
Christina nodded, "The judge considered that it would help my rehabilitation... you should see my room." She said, a little embarrassed.
Next the girl with the pigtail stood up. "Samantha Jones, I used to be Sam Jones. Sentenced to 12 times 4 to 9, all with Y-repression." Diana was surprised, Y-repression was not a common addition to a sentence, and she had two in her class. "This is my second cycle. My offense was violence against women, which also explains all the pastel colors in all my things."
Mrs Kapsis looked sternly at Samantha. "What exactly did you do?"
Samantha looked down, "I... I used to hit my wife ma'am..."
"I see." Replied Mrs Kapsis, "I'll be sure that you learn your lesson, Samantha."
Samantha nodded sadly, "Y... yes... thank you ma'am..."
The African American boy stood up. "Joseph Durward. 3 times 6 to 12 for embezzlement. This is my third and last cycle." Last cycle, tought Diana, that certainly explained why he was a soft timer. Now she felt even more envious.
"Luis Gonzalez," said the soft timer Latin boy as he stood up, "6 times 6 to 12, this is my fifth cycle, my offence was Slicing and Computer Vandalism."
Then Diana stood up, "Diana Kavenzky. 10 times 6 to 12 for intolerance and violation of the first principle trough medical negligence. This is my first cycle." Replied Diana, she blushed a little as her braces caused some of the words sound funny.
The soft timer Latin girl stood up. "Maria Lopez. 5 times 6 to 12 for hover driving while under the influence of alcohol. This is my fourth cycle, the first as soft time."
The Korean girl stood up. "Kim Jung Mi. 14 times 4 to 8 for attempted murder. This is my fifth cycle."
Wow! Tought Diana, two pennies sentenced for almost killing someone. Diana was a little sad as she was one of them.
Finally the girl with black hair and green eyes stood up. "Mary O'Hara, Ma'am. 9th cycle of 16 times 4 to 9, ma'am." She talked in a serious way, like she wanted to give the best impression. "My offence was abuse of authority and misuse of official resources."
Di was surprised, and so were others in the class. By far Mary had the harshest sentence in the class, and was the one that had more cycles so far.
"Abuse of authority and misuse of official resources?" asked the teacher, "Did you work in an official position?" she asked the hard time pennitatas. Apparently Mrs Kapsis also wanted to know more about Mary's offence.
Mary nodded, "Yes Ma'am. I was an officer at the corrections board. I was in charge of filing."
"How exactly did you abuse your authority?" asked Mrs Kapsis.
Mary looked ashamed, apparently she was sorry for what she did, not surprising since she was in her 9th cycle! "I used computer files to get data of different women and then blackmailing them with it and forcing them to sleep with me."
"I see, you have been Y-repressed as well then?" asked Mrs Kapsis.
Mary looked up, "Oh, no Ma'am. I've always been a girl. It's just that I'm a lesbian."
"Oh, I see. Okay Mary, you can sit down now." Said Mrs. Kapsis to the penny girl.
Mary's sexuality wasn't an issue now, but Di couldn't help but wonder how life was like to people with Mary's sexual orientation back in the XX and the XXI century, when humanity wasn't as open and as tolerant as they were now.
"Thank you Ma'am." Said the girl, and sat down.
Mrs Kapsis looked to the class, "Okay everyone, now that the introductions are over, since it's the first day of school, its time for the welcome spankings for the students. Maria, Joseph, Luis, since you are soft time pennies you don't get any spankings now, but you must stay seated and watch how the rest of the class gets their spankings."
The three soft timers in the class nodded their heads in response. "Yes Ma'am." They replied at the same time.
The time that Diana and the rest of the hard timers in the class dreaded finally came. In a moment everyone would get a spanking from the teacher, at least it was only going to be with the spanking paddle assigned to the class by the board of education for pennitatas.
Mrs Kapsis took the wooden paddle out of her desk, moved her chair so the pennies could bend over her lap, and sat down.
"Christina Smith, come here please." Called the teached.
With short steps the blonde girl stepped over to the teacher.
"Now Christina, when I asked about your school supplies and such, you answered, which is okay. But then you added some editorial comments, which you should know by now not to make at introduction. This is not your first cycle, you should know that by now. I'll be adding a few extra swats to your welcome spanking, on the bare. Now, on my lap."
Christina nodded sadly, lifted up her skirt and climbed up over Mrs Kapsis legs. Her panties were on display to everyone in the class and they could see the pink and yellow bird drawings all over it. Mrs Kapsis gave her twelve swats with the paddle, then lowered her panties to her knees and gave five extra swats on Christina's bare bottom, which turned into a bright pink color.
Christina was crying as she walked over to the wall, and continued crying as she stood staring at it, while she kept holding up her skirt and displaying her spanked bottom to the classroom.
"Samantha, come here." Said Mrs Kapsis to the pigtailed girl.
Samantha also walked over to Mrs Kapsis and pulled up her skirt, she climbed up her legs displaying her panties. They were a bright pink with a rainbow painted over her bottom.
Mrs Kapsis then delivered twelve hard swats to Samantha's pantied bottom, then lowered the penny girl back to the floor.
Samantha walked over to the wall, to stand next to Christina, as she held up her skirt and cried.
"Kim, come here." Said Mrs Kapsis to the asian girl.
Kim stepped up, and climbed over Mrs Kapsis legs after she pulled up her skirt. Twelver swats later, she was standing on display next to Samantha and Christina.
"Diana, step up please."
Diana walked to the front of the classroom, and climbed over Mrs Kapsis legs, her bottom high in the air, displaying her white cotton panties to everyone as her skirt was lifted over her back.
SWAT-SWAT-SWAT-SWAT- SWAT-SWAT-SWAT-SWAT- SWAT-SWAT-SWAT-SWAT!
After the paddle landed on her small bottom twelve times, little Di was crying freely. The red headed girl felt how her bottom burned after the beating it took.
She then had to walk over, eyes filled with tears, as she then had to present her hot pink bottom to the rest of the class as she stood next to the other pennys.
Mary was the last hard time pennitatas in the classroom. She did look like she was dreading the moment of her own spanking, but she didn't hesitate to stand up and walk over to the Mrs Kapsis when the teacher called her name.
She obediently pulled up her skit, displaying her white cotton panties, and climbed over the teacher's lap.
Then she was given twelve hard swats with the paddle on her bottom just like the rest, then walked over to the front of the class, to cry as she held her skit up with her bottom on display.
"Okay now," said Mrs Kapsis to the rest of the class, which consisted on the soft time pennys, "I want the rest to spend the rest of the class reading in silence until the period is over."
Maria, Joseph and Luis took out their books and started reading silently as the hard time pennies remained where they were, bottoms on display, crying.
Fifteen minutes later, everyone was permitted back to their seats and Arts and Crafts period started.
Everyone started doing sketches on using their computer pad and electric pens. As a doctor, Diana knew that rejuved people used this to help restore their eye-hands coordination. She had recommended drawing pictures to many Voluntaras.
After that, each class had a different activity.
Di's class had the teacher read a story to them. The story was written especially for Pennitatas. It was childish, but still entertaining for adults (since theu had nano-webs, but still had been formed adults that were rejuvenated). The story also contained some spaking content and a moral at ending suited for pennys.
Then came the dreaded class of Ethics and Good Behavior. This class was mandatory for every pennitatas. It was used not only in their education, but also their grades were taken in consideration when the court reviews of their cases came at the end of each cycle. However, the subject was designed also to be as boring a class as it could possibly be. The books had no pictures, the words were too many and too dull, and even the book covers were gray.
As soft time pennys, Luis, Maria and Joseph would only be having this class two days a week. The rest of the day they had an extra recess, while the hard timers, like Diana, were stuck in their classes stuck with boredom.
As the three soft time kids returned to the classroom, it was time for the writing practice class. This was needed for them to recover the muscle memory to write.
Everyone did line after line of the same letter, until a whole page was filled. This left the pennitatas with sore hands, but it was necessary. Besides, penny school was supposed to be educational, not fun.
After that, lunch time came. Every kid in school was arranged in a line, and they were led to the lunch room by their teachers.
After lunch, the pennys finally got some free time to play, the hard times for the first time in the day. And it was also the only recess that hard timers had all day.
After recess, it was naptime. The desks were moved over to the wall, pads were sprayed all over the floor, and all kids, both soft time and hard time, laid down to sleep.
Naptime was the last period that the class has together. After that, each penny is goes to their elective classes.
Elective classes were subjects that Pennitatas had a choice to elect what they wanted. They were still required to get As in them, and they had to pick two. One subject was studied on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, while the other was taken on Thursday and Friday.
As a rejuved Doctor, Diana had elected classes that would be useful to her profession after her sentence was over.
So she would be taking Advanced Genetics today and would have her first class of Pathology later in the week.
Finally, school was over for first graders. After the Genetics class was over, Diana was dismissed and she left school. There she saw her mommy waiting for her. This was not to happen every day, but just the first one. Ruth was there to help Diana find the right hover-bus to take back home.
Back home, Diana went to the backyard to play for a few hours before dinner was ready. After that she would go to sleep and her first school day would have been over.
Another one waited for her tomorrow, but at least there wasn't going to be any Welcome spankings then.
Author's Notes: This is the last of the 'starting chapters' all main characters have been introduced. So now chapters will focus on special days and such happenings.
